With a career at RSH you’ll be joining an organisation that gives you the opportunity to make a difference to people’s lives, regulating a sector that houses 4 million people across England.
Working as part of our Regulatory Engagement Directorate, you will support the delivery of effective regulation of landlords as we make sure they are well run and financially viable. Our regulation continues to drive social landlords to deliver improvements in the safety and quality of homes and engage with tenants in the delivery of services.
The role:
As a Financial Analysis Manager, you will assess and articulate the level of financial risk faced by individual social landlords. As such these roles offer a unique opportunity for individuals who want to apply their professional skills and understanding in a varied environment, engaging directly with landlords, anticipating risks, and working with senior colleagues to agree next steps.
You will play a pivotal role in the success of our regulation by working to build a clear understanding of the financial, economic and governance risks that large scale social landlords face, including the impact of the external economic climate and a wide range of treasury considerations. Working on a portfolio of providers you will have the opportunity to analyse detailed financial forecasts, business plans and other information to develop robust, blended assessments of landlords’ financial strength.
Supported by senior, experienced financial regulators, these roles offer a great opportunity to develop exceptionally strong analytical skills with real-time application, in a team environment that is committed to collaborative working, knowledge sharing and a commitment to work with a social value.
About you:
As the successful candidate, you will have a financial background and a relevant professional qualification and be able to demonstrate excellent analytical skills with an ability to exercise sound professional judgement.
